Mykonos - A Little Black Dress and an Open Mind

What!?! As i am sure you are all asking yourselves...

On the ferry on the way to Mykonos, i of course was trying to sleep while Ellen and Mary alternated between espressos and beer to keep them going, anyway, just as we were arriving to the dock, this on gentleman kindly asked us where we were headed and of course we answered, and since ellen basically handled greece for mary and i, (thanks god!) we were happy to let her answer. So... after terrible small talk, we ask them where is the best place to go out, and that is when he kindly told us, in Mykonoos Town.. and to were a Little Black Dress and Keep an Open Mind. Ok... we said and turned to each other with a WOW expression.. did he really just say that!

Anyway.. for the remainder of Mykonos, that is all we could say to each other all while laughing...

so.. we arrive in Mykonos and our hotel is fantastic!! A pool that disappears into the horizon of the Sea and is steps from the beach where the clear green / blue water awaited us. It was awesome! The weather could not have been any better. The three of us were in heaven! A few cocktails on the beach, swimming, laughing and pictures! That night we had dinner on the beach and headed into Mykonos Town like our ferry buddies told us, but this time we joined our new friends from Norway that we met on the beach. They were so fun and hysterical. After a long night out, we headed back to the hotel and crashed! Up and early we enjoyed our free breakfast at the hotel and got prime chairs at the beach. Again... beautiful weather!! By the afternoon, we were starving and enjoyed a lovely lunch at the pool where our pool was a salt water pool. I have never experienced that before. I, of course the blonde that i am, thought WOW... i must be really salty from the Sea... until Ellen advised me after taking a dip that it was salt water pool... Ah Ha, now that makes sense! Silly Me!

Now.. this is when the hysterics continue. Mary, Ellen and i take a water taxi over to Super Paradise. WOWIE .. this place goes off!! Techno music LOUD like crazy ...dancing on rocks, the beach in the water on the bar. It was unreal and only like 5:00! And lots of fun.. and obviously, lots of laughter on our end.

Anywho, being that this was our last night, and poor ellen had to be up and out by 4:30 we returned from super paradise where we packed up and headed into town where we again enjoyed a great meal in Little Venice. It was right on the Sea with this Ginormous Boat / possible Pirate Ship... cruising in front of us. It was crazy. then we did a little more sightseeing and headed home....
